CINEWARS is a movies website built using Vite, React, and Tailwind CSS. It utilizes the TMDB API to fetch movie data and provide a seamless movie browsing experience. This README.md file provides an overview of the project and instructions for running the website locally.

Follow the instructions below to get a local copy of the project up and running on your machine.
- Node.js (version 12 or above)
- NPM (Node Package Manager) or Yarn
- Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/themoviesapp.git
- Navigate to the project directory:
cd themoviesapp
- Install the dependencies using NPM or Yarn:
npm install
or
yarn install
To use the TMDB API, you need to obtain an API key. Follow these steps to get your API key:
- Sign up for an account on https://www.themoviedb.org/ if you don't have one already.
- Visit the API Settings page and create a new API key.
- Copy the generated API key. Once you have the API key, create a .env file in the root directory of the project and add the following line:
VITE_TMDB_API_KEY=your-api-key-goes-here
Replace your-api-key-goes-here with your actual API key.
To start the development server, run the following command:
npm run dev
or
yarn dev
Once the server is running, you can access the website in your browser at http://localhost:3000.
To build the website for production, use the following command:
npm run build
or
yarn build
The optimized and minified files will be generated in the dist directory.
