Models Technical Changes: (Patch)

More patches the rotation command broke spawning models and objects wouldn't rotate, but it's fixed now in this release.

New Model Collision

Added Stair Collisions, for stair types of models.

  • Added Stair Model Recipe, just use oak slabs in stair format recipe to craft.
  • Added Stair into UI menu.

Bug Fixes

  • Removed Rotation from saving model data, but can rotate model as a whole.
  • Forge Fixed Axis "X" adjusting wasn't properly set.

Models Technical Changes: (Patch)

Small Patch issues to address missed during development

  • When Admin or Player Granted Admin permissions using ui menu, models were wrong type of data, now fixed.

NEW Models Command:

Rotates All model objects, but keep in mind it will rotate everything.

  • Added Collision to update with rotations.
  • /trigger model_rotationmin value of 1 and max value of 360. Rotates entire model.

Creative Mode:

  • Creative mode players, can either "right click" or "throw item".

Survival Mode:

  • Players can just throw it on item to place in survival.

Models's Technical Changes:

Introducing Models update 1.20.6!! Moving into Minecraft's latest changes with components!!

  • Reworked a lot of code. Due to component changes a lot had get updated!
  • Datapack is now 100% cleaned of any clutter and now organized to help add improvement for later updates.

"NEW" Models Mechanic Changes (Creating Models):

  • When you're creating models, you'll be given a spawn egg you can right click and place it on ground.

"NEW" Models Mechanic Changes (Throwing Models):

  • If you want to spawn in models you're saved or using ui menu. Simply "THROW" the item on ground and it will spawn and delete item itself.

Mulitplayer Support Changes:

  • Collision blocks cannot be broken by players, items won't drop.
  • Collision can only be removed by owned block player or admin.

"NEW" Mulitplayer Support Recipes

  • Added Model Recipes into crafting table for players to craft in survival they can access texture and removal tools using command, /trigger model_tools

New Commands, "/trigger forge_collision"

Now adding collision support for certain blocks and model types!!

  • /trigger forge_collision set 1 - Removes collision from blocks.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 2 - Adds barrier collision.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 3 - Adds fence collision.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 4 - Adds slab collision.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 5 - Adds chain[axis=x] collision.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 6 - Adds chain[axis=y] collision.
  • /trigger forge_collision set 7 - Adds chain[axis=z] collision.

New Commands, "/trigger forge_collision_width" & "/trigger forge_collision_height"

Adding more customization options for players that want to add collision width and height into their models.

  • /trigger forge_collision_width set 1-3 - Sets width of the collision and cannot excessed over 3 blocks.
  • /trigger forge_collision_height set 1-3 - Sets height of the collision and cannot excessed over 3 blocks.

Collisions

Making the blocks feel real to game by applying block collisions upon spawning. Collision blocks, cannot be broken by players. Only player that owns it can remove it or an admin.

The removal tool for the collisions is same remove brush. If you get any barriers or left over blocks use removal tool to simply remove the blocks.

New Commands to (Forge Update)

Added a converter for old data to be updated to lastest data if pack with commands!

  • /trigger forge_update set 1 - turns any 1.20.4 old model code data into new format introduced in last few updates of 1.20.4.
  • /trigger forge_update set 2 - upgrades the code into pack version, 1.20.6 format.
  • Added version number, letting user know what version model is using for the format.

New Forge Engine:

Moved all forge engine related items into a folder that does rendering!

  • Commands such as, "create", "place", "copy", "paste", "update", "animate", & "spawn" have been moved into engine folder.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed forge update to add previous versions of code support.
  • Fixed spawning mechanic now work for survival players!
  • Fixed /trigger sel - didn't stop selections after being used.
  • Fixed grouping axis when moving entire layers.
  • Fixed Giving items back due to component changes had to re-write everything.

Technical Changes:

Adding Customizations... Command Changes... And... More...!

New Command, "forge_animation"

This command allows models to now animations that are pre-made to give more effects.

  • type in for example, "/trigger forge_animation" is will disable animations for model player is near by.
  • type in for example, "/trigger forge_animation set 2" this will grant model of "Door Animation".

Command Changes to, "/trigger forge_rotate" & "/trigger forge_rotate_x"

Command no, longer rotates whole objects it now functions into forge creation tool.

  • Now you can rotate them independently adding more depth in your models.

Command Changes to, "/trigger model_ui set [value]"

Player's can choose which type of box they would like in their inventory by using values.

  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui" you'll receive all models.
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 2" you'll receive "Bedroom".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 3" you'll receive "Kitchen".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 4" you'll receive "Dinning".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 5" you'll receive "Living".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 6" you'll receive "Decoration".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 7" you'll receive "Exterior".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 8" you'll receive "Doors".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 9" you'll receive "Fences".
  • type in for example, "/trigger model_ui set 10" you'll receive "Garden".

New Commands, Defining Layers By Type, and more...

New Command, "model_texture"

This "new" command, changes how layer texturing works! You can texture each individual layer. It will remove any "Primary", "Secondary", & "Triad" Pallete types.

Pasting Engine Changes:

New Changes, when Player, places a object the data is now saved and can be edited individuality by textures using,
/trigger forge_edit_layer set [layer]

Command Changes, "forge_pallete"

New Changes, Palletes now can be defined by grouping,

  • /trigger forge_pallete set 1 - Defines pallete group by, "None".
  • /trigger forge_pallete set 2 - Defines pallete group by, "Primary".
  • /trigger forge_pallete set 3 - Defines pallete group by, "Secondary".
  • /trigger forge_pallete set 4 - Defines pallete group by, "Triad".

Command Changes, "forge_layers"

New Changes, Layers now can be defined for example,

  • /trigger forge_layers set 1 - Shows list of layers defined by, "None".
  • /trigger forge_layers set 2 - Shows list of layers defined by, "Primary".
  • /trigger forge_layers set 3 - Shows list of layers defined by, "Secondary".
  • /trigger forge_layers set 4 - Shows list of layers defined by, "Triad".

More Customizations for Public Users Commands:

More detailing, customization and defining!

Public Players now have limited access to following commands,

  • /trigger forge_layers set [group num] - displays list of layers defined by grouping.
    Can be accessed after model is placed using, v1.3.9.
  • /trigger forge_edit_layer set [layer] - Allows players access and edit individual layers.
  • /trigger forge_pallete set [group] - Allows players to define individual layers by group.

Technical Changes:

Changes to Primary, Secondary, & Triad Brushes functions & new models.

New Models:

  • Added Dark Oak Bench
  • Added Wooden Lawn Chair

Texture Brushes Changes:

Primary, Secondary, & Triad now function like the removal brush.

  • Player's can now select what model they want to edit without having all "Models" update all same time.
  • Public & Admin users same functions when editing textures of models.

Brush Functionality:

  • Player's Cursor must target object to update it's textures with raycasting on carrot on a stick.

Removed Functionality:

  • Schematic command removed, due to being a duplicate command to "Save" & "Paste" functionality.

Technical Changes:

Massive Changes, Performances, speeds, rewrites!

Rewrote Engine to include the "NEW" format, speed, and file size reduced!

  • Updated Model pasting speed to 0.5 speed (half a second tick speed)
  • Updated All Models to newest version of Engine!
  • Added my own NBT for models now for better optimization.
  • All Data inside models has been gutted to resolve TPS issues with servers!

Forge Update (Command)

  • /trigger forge_update - Player, holds old model spawn egg on their selected hand and game does rest provides them with new egg w/ all updated code for performance, speed, and nbt fixes.

Bug Fixes:

  • Layers now exist in the new "NBT" syntax of model spawn eggs now!

  • Separated Removal tools between (Admin) & (Public) Player's.

Forge Layers (Command)

  • Added Axis data, into layers.
  • Added Scale data, into layers.

Bug Fixes:

  • Removal tool forgot include, "create forge" entity to be remove in "right clicking"
  • Added message to let player's know they can't remove other player's models unless admin is needed.

Technical Changes:

Big big changes! Quality of life changes!!!

  • TPS server issue bug has been finally been patched!
  • Changed menu prompts as shulker boxes for spawn eggs.
  • Changed the removal tool to a "carrot on a stick".
  • Removed Additional files that were no, longer needed.

Tool Changes (Removal):

  • Removal tool can now select what model, Player like to remove.
  • Removal tool is now improved will give, Players model back after removed for [public] & [admin]
