Issues with PDF.js on Firefox Mobile #3252

Updated on 19-5-2014 to reflect the current situation using Android 4.4.2 and Firefox 29.0.1 on my LG Nexus 4.

Take a look at the images below. The first image is Firefox, the second image is Chrome.

  • The rendering speed with Firefox is quite low. Zooming in twice takes ~4 times as long to render.
  • The zoom buttons are very close to the page label (in both Firefox and Chrome).
  • Two-finger zooming also zooms the toolbar.

One more thing: Two-finger zoom shouldn't zoom the toolbar, should it?

@fkaelberer You're right. I have updated the issue above. And by the way, thanks for your buttons fix!

Closing as fixed. Performance is much better now and the buttons are no longer a real problem. The toolbar zoom will be addressed by #2582.
