planned features

  • Simplified roguelike mechanics — no hunger, no item durability etc
  • World consists of adjacent "sectors" with varying individual themes
  • The player character can move between those sectors by using portals — this randomizes all other sectors besides the one that was just entered. Basically like moving up/down in traditional roguelikes, but each "level" has its own theme and contents.
  • To use the portals, the player has to find specific tools and items to fix and activate them.
  • End goal — reach a specific level by going through many other levels to find necessary items/weapons
