Python implementation of STATIS - a multi-table version of Principal Component Analysis (PCA)

About

This package implements the methods described in:

  • Abdi, Herve, Lynne J. Williams, Domininique Valentin, and Mohammed Bennani‐Dosse. "STATIS and DISTATIS: optimum multitable principal component analysis and three way metric multidimensional scaling." Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews: Computational Statistics 4, no. 2 (2012): 124-167.
  • Abdi, Hervé. "Singular value decomposition (SVD) and generalized singular value decomposition." Encyclopedia of measurement and statistics. Thousand Oaks (CA): Sage (2007): 907-12.

These methods have been originally implemented in MATLAB. Here I provide a Python implementation, together with a tutorial-style documentation that allows users to fairly easily familiarize with the method. For a more mathematical treatment of the method, please refer to the aforementioned papers.
