BuddyBot

BuddyBot: Building Your Pet a Robot Buddy - In this project we're going to use stepper motors and the STM Nucleo to have a little fun with our four legged companions. Exercise and fun are necessary for humans and pets alike to maintain a balanced lifestyle. For our pets there is no better way to get them running around then by chasing the red dot of a laser pointer. But as engineers and makers just holding a laser pointer in our hand is np fun, we need to add a little electronic magic! So in this project we will build a system that lets a user control the laser pointer via an Android app, or for when we are just too busy we'll add an automated "robot" mode to keep our pets entertained.

The key hardware components of this project include the STM Nucleo F401RE, stepper motors, ultrasonic sensors, and a Bluetooth serial communications module.
