##1. Description 📃
WDIConference is a Melbourne-based tech conference for mid to senior level developers to network with each other and attend lectures from leading experts in the field. Guests can peruse the site to view speakers, lecture topics, social events, and sponsors. Because the lectures are geared towards a more advanced audience, those interested in attending must pass a basic coding test to confirm their experience level prior to booking their seats. After successfully passing the coding test and choosing seats we take payment via credit or debit card and you're in!

##3. Technologies 📱
Technologies used to build this app include: Ruby on Rails(v2.3.1), HTML, CSS Javascript, AJAX and APIs (including Auth0, Stripe, MapBox using City of Melbourne API & Weather.com API, AceEditor, Bootstrap, Typed.js, slick.js). Trello was used for our group project management and workflow assistance. Heroku is being used as a cloud platform to host our application (below).

We used Heroku as our deployment platform. We then followed the guideline created by the legendary HMAN1911 😏

##5. Installation/Startup Instructions 📖
Direct your browser by clicking on the application URL above and load the page.
If you want to install on your computer, fork this repository.
Additional gems to install: omniauth, omniauth-auth0, and stripe.
Login and payment functionality require a Stripe and Auth0 account.
- As a user, I click on the website and will end up on the landing page where I will be impressed by the cool visuals.
- I would be able to log in using my social network accounts including Facebook , Google and LinkedIn. I can also sign up if I don't utilize any of these platforms.
- As a user and a developer interested in attending the world re-nowned WDI Conference, I will have to attempt a coding test pre-requisite prior to me securing my booking/ticket.
- Upon completion of coding test page , I will be redirected to the booking page to pick my seats for the WDI Conference followed by the payment page.
- Upon completing my credit/debit card payment, I will receive a confirmation and be able to RSVP to social events made possible by our sponsors.
