Forked from:

mailtrap

by Matt Mower <self@mattmower.com>
http://matt.blogs.it/

BACKGROUND:

My goal is to let mailtrap write to a temporary datastore (ds) such that ds such that if your app sent an e-mail to tarzan@jungle.com, then ds.next("tarzan@jungle.com") will remove and return the oldest message for tarzan.

In other words, I wanted mailtrap to write to multiple queues, one for each addressee, so that your test script can then fetch the e-mails it's sent to various fictitious users to test assertions on them.

After getting the specs for this gem to run again, I found out that mailtrap has been largely supplanted by Mikel Lindsaar's excellent mail. Rather than fork mail, I created mail-store-agent which can be given as an argument to Mail::TestMailer.deliveries=() and provide the same functionality this fork was intended to provide.

I'll leave this up here for now, in case someone else finds something useful.
