**Relative scale.** Scale captured frames by a percentage relative to the resolution set in the `Output size` field.

**Maintain aspect ratio when scaling.** When scaling captured frames, pad the resulting image with black borders if necessary to conserve the frame's aspect ratio. If disabled, frames will be stretched to fit the output size.
**Keep aspect ratio.** When displaying captured frames, conserve a desired aspect ratio. If disabled, frames will be stretched to fully fit the size of the [output window](#the-output-window). The following aspect ratio modes are available:
- `Native` Conserve each frame's original aspect ratio. A frame of 720 x 400 will be displayed with an aspect ratio of 9:5, and a frame of 640 x 480 with 4:3.
- `Traditional 4:3` Certain older, non-4:3 resolutions – like 720 x 400, 640 x 400, and 320 x 200 – were sometimes intended to be displayed in a 4:3 aspect. This mode sets a 4:3 aspect ratio for those resolutions, and otherwise acts like the `Native` mode.
- `Always 4:3` All frames will be displayed in a 4:3 aspect.

**Mouse wheel scales output window.** Set whether scrolling the mouse wheel over the [output window](#the-output-window) scales the size of the window up or down. This works by modifying the `Relative scale` value, which in turns affects the size of the output window.
