The main modification is the inclusion of the SMA calculation for Points_Scored for both home and away teams.
The main modification is the inclusion of the SMA calculation for Points_Scored for both home and away teams.
I added a check at the beginning of the function to ensure that american_odds is not None. If it is, the function raises a ValueError with a relevant message. Additionally, I adjusted the calculation to correctly convert American odds to decimal odds. The previous implementation was slightly off.
