My name is Mário and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹. As you can see, I like penguins! That's my online nickname, I go by Penguin PhD and people usually ask what kind of doctorate I am 😅.

I currently have a small homelab for personal projects and to learn! Of course I've locked myself out from the servers a couple times because of Fail2Ban or other firewalls haha! Always looking out for great used enterprise equipment to create my dream homelab with a full rack, including switches, routers, firewalls, servers and UPS. My next goal is getting a NUC to run OpenWRT or OPNSense.
