• Changes to code were just formatting/styling

• Supports 2 Illumina sequence identifier formats
• Supports gzip and ASCII fastq inputs
• Parallel process paired-end fastq files
• Does minimal validating of fastq
• Does not support interleaved fastq files
• Generates basic report json for all output fastq files
