Spatiotemporal variation in risk of Shigella infection in childhood: a global risk mapping and prediction model using individual participant data

Funding: NASA/NIH/BMGF DOI: 10.1016/S2214-109X(22)00549-6

This repo includes the prediction maps generated from Badr, Colston et al. (2023).

Naming convention

The filenames follow 13-characters naming convention:

  • The first four letters are the abbreviation of the pathogen (shig = Shigella).
  • The next two letters indicating whether it is the probability or standard error (pr = Probability | se = Standard Error).
  • Next are four numbers giving the upper and lower bound of the age range of the estimate in months.
  • After that is a one letter for the syndrome (a = Asymptomatic | s = Surveillance).
  • Last comes two letters indicating if the study design (hf = Health Facility | cs = Community Surveillance).
