Dotfiles Intstallation:

Step 1: cd ~ Step 2: git clone git://github.com/jdpagley/dotfiles

Create symlinks

• ln -s ~/dotfiles/.vimrc ~/.vimrc

• ln -s ~/dotfiles/.vim ~/.vim

• ln -s ~/dotfiles/.gitconfig ~/.gitconfig

• ln -s ~/dotfiles/.gitignore ~/.gitignore

• ln -s ~/dotfiles/.bash_profile ~/.bash_profile

Vim Package Loading

• I use pathogen for package loading: https://github.com/tpope/vim-pathogen.

Theme

Make sure you're in the .vim/bundle directory before running clone commands. Navigate to bundle directory by typing cd .vim/bundle when in the root of the dotfiles directory.

Installing Plugins

JSON: git clone git@github.com:elzr/vim-json.git json

Jade: git clone git@github.com:digitaltoad/vim-jade.git jade

Rename: git clone git@github.com:danro/rename.vim.git rename

Stylus: git clone git@github.com:wavded/vim-stylus.git stylus

Coffee Script: git clone https://github.com/kchmck/vim-coffee-script.git

NERDtree: git clone https://github.com/scrooloose/nerdtree.git nerdtree
