Using the Apollo GraphQL Client to Break on Through to the REST API

I know what you're thinking.

You always wanted to develop with GraphQL, but the REST API server said no. You always wanted to leverage the Apollo Client for JavaScript state management, but the REST API server said no.

Let's learn about the powerful features that the Apollo Client offers for JavaScript application state management. Let's get a surface level understanding of GraphQL and understand motivations for using a GraphQL client with a REST API server.
