About The App

Healthy Ways is a health-based application brought to you by IoT Labs, KIIT, the app aims to monitor individuals' good health with the help of some interactive and easy-to-use tools which helps in providing a better understanding of individuals mass percentage, BMI, and much more. Along with the amazing tools, the app consists of a 7 minutes exerciser which helps individuals to consistently work upon some cardio exercises in just 7 minutes.

What is Hacktoberfest?

A month-long celebration from October 1st - 31st sponsored by Digital Ocean and GitHub to get people involved in Open Source. Create your very first pull request to any public repository on GitHub and contribute to the open source developer community.

Steps To Contribute

1.Fork the repo on your github profile from the fork button on top right corner.

2.Clone the forked repository on your machine

git clone https://github.com/Your-username/HealthyWays.git

3.Finalise the issue or update in which you will be working.

4.If adding any image please make sure it must be .png image.

5.In case someone is adding any icons please refer to the below website to maintain the similarity with the rest of the icons.

6.Send us a Pull Request discribing about the great changes you have added.

Choose from these Tasks

1.Create Login/Signup page using firebase.

2.Calorie Calculator UI : Create the calorie calculator screen as depicted below (name it activity_calorie_calculator.xml).

     

3. Calorie Calculator Button UI : Create a Button UI for calorie calculator. Sample buttons example in below attached image. Use appropriate icon for calorie and the button created must match the theme of the app. (Create a seperate xml file in layout folder with name calorie_button.xml)

     

4. Calorie Calculator History Card UI : Create a card for history of calorie tool. There are two images attached one hand made shows what to add and other shows how to be made.

          

5.Any possible UI updates.

6.Refer to issues for more tasks.

7.Any other useful updates that comes to your mind.

About IoT Labs,KIIT

This project has been made by the dedicated team of students under IoT Labs,KIIT. IoT Lab at KIIT is a group of committed students who work under the guidance of a group of capable and supportive teachers who guide us through each phase and stage. IoT Lab is a research forum that examines the possibilities of crowdsourcing and the Internet of Things for transdisciplinary research and initiatives that involve greater end-user participation.
