Back button not working when opening page within a popover

Short description of the problem:

When I create a popover with some ion-items opening another page, the back button is not working anymore when I navigate to this new page.

What behavior are you expecting?

I expect the back button to work as a normal nav.push would do. I press the back button and go back to the page the popup showed up.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a popup window with ion-items which navigate to a new page

Which Ionic Version? 1.x or 2.x
Ionic2 Beta 8

Hello, thanks for opening an issue with us! When you say back button do you mean the hardware back button or the back button in the navbar ? Thanks for using Ionic!

Hi I haven't actually tested the hardware button, but I meant the arrow in the navbar.
