Version 1.1

This project is best with the master revision (it anyway pulls latest data from the repository). However, the scripts (mainly configure-get.sh) are rather stable and hence a release is (over-)due. Users are encouraged to rely on the master revision of XCONFIGURE.

The online-documentation is directly readable at GitHub, but also available in a reformatted form at ReadtheDocs including the capability to search the documentation. In addition, an offline document is available as well (PDF).

Version 1.0

This project lives from the most recent version rather than a release (and the download script “configure-get.sh” so far takes the master revision). However, a release often encourages a first try. Given the success of the project, it is perhaps time for a first release! Although version 1.0 is an arbitrarily point in the history of the project, it is carefully prepared (as always). Enjoy!
