Instructions to build

cmake from top dir (we used GUI version in Windows)
Use Visual Studio 14 2015-Win64 as generator target (haven't tested for newer versions)
Use Native Compilers
After generating the solution, build canny_edge_detection target in Release mode.
File input name can be changed from main.cpp.
