Postman-CLI-tools

Extract Postman configuration and save it locally under JSON format.

Prerequisite

• Python 3.x
• If you use .env file: pip install -r requirements.txt
• Environment variable:
  • By shell: postman_api_key=xxxxxxxxx
  • By .env file: cp sample.env .env and edit it

Execution

python main.py

Configuration

• Postman API KEY: postman_api_key=POSTMAN_API_KEY_TO_ADD
• Postman URL: postman_url=https://api.getpostman.com
• Pattern to search in the ressource names: pattern_to_get=[.+]*
• Timeout of the request on Postman servere: timeout=30
• Allow or not request redirection: redirects=False
• To indicate a dedicated collection: collection_uid=POSTMAN_COLLECTION_UID_KEY
• To indicate a dedicated environment: environment_uid=POSTMAN_ENVIRONMENT_UID_KEY
• To indicate a dedicated collection: monitor_uid=POSTMAN_MONITOR_UID_KEY

Output

Files are stored in ./assets/
