This is a maintenance release.

  • Fixes an issue wherein the launcher may not have been able to patch the game correctly due to a signed/unsigned mismatch
  • Fixes an issue wherein the game may not have started correctly under very specific circumstances
  • Fixes an issue wherein some error messages may have been unclear
  • The "Updating assets" step of starting the game will now show the actual download progress
  • Updated the localization files

If you receive errors during the installation or if the launcher doesn't work correctly, make sure to check your antivirus first and disable it for XIVLauncher.
