anvil is an open-source tool for windows powered by the ImGui (imgui.net) GUI library to recreate and/or bring the experience from using a windows terminal to the next level. anvil is a windows CMD/Terminal replacement not only having much more advanced UI features but also using a custom shell language that improves workflow and productivity. anvil is not a full terminal/cmd replacement because it breaks the rules of 'being a terminal'. It uses modern UI elements to make the anvil console UI much easier to use.

anvil is currently in its early state of development, still an early concept idea and not ready for publishing and testing. First pre-compiled binaries will be published on application pre-release (version 0.1-dev-stable or later).
anvil is developed in as few lines and program files as possible to:
- Set myself a challenge
- Keep the program small and clean
