Building GGobi OS X

This guide assumes some expertise with the command line.

Step One: Install dependencies

Install the following in the usual mac manner

 * Latest version (>= 2.4) of  [http://developer.apple.com/tools/download/ Xcode], and X11 installed from your install dvd.
 * [http://macports.org/ MacPorts]
 * [http://r-project.org R] (if installing Rggobi)

Then, from the terminal, run (this will take a while, so you might want to do it overnight):

Step Two: Build ggobi
