Software

A local installation of python (3.X suggested) is required. You can use the miniconda installer (e.g. on Linux) https://docs.conda.io/projects/conda/en/latest/user-guide/install/ and download the needed packages (numpy, matplotlib, basemap or cartopy) following https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/user-guide/tasks/install-packages/ Students should already know spyder https://anaconda.org/anaconda/spyder
