Description of Changes

Towards #5969.

  • Updates version to 2.0.0
  • merges RC bugfix lines in changelog with their respective feature lines

Testing

  • versions updated correctly.
  • changelog makes sense

Looks good to me -- RC fix PRs were moved under their original issues, versions otherwise look right.
