Project Enroll Me

Codacy Badge FOSSA Status

This cross-platform application is being developed for the Android and iOS platforms using the Flutter SDK by Google. The idea behind this app is make it a one-stop solution for any community to smoothly organise meetups.

Features (Proposed)

  1. A digital badge with QR for check-in
  2. A chat platform for the attendees of the meet-up with the speaker
  3. Ability to ask/queue questions to the speaker in-between the meetup, which are shown to the speaker, live.
  4. A quick feedback flow for meetups.
  5. Directions to the venue (using AR, needs brainstorming)
  6. Organise Quizzes in the app
  7. The meetups will be integrated with the Meetup API

Running the App

The app makes use of Firebase, so in order to run or build this application you will have to:

  1. Create a new firebase project
  2. Add the android application to the project
  3. Just download the google-services.json file and place it in android/app directory.
  4. Make sure that the google-services.json file is not checked into version control.
  5. Keep a backup of the file, just in case you lose the local version of your project.

This project uses the Flutter SDK. If you are passionate about Flutter, or mobile app development in general, and want to help us solve the problem of organising meetups for thousands of communities around the world, then this is where you start.

How to contribute ?

  1. Fork the repo and create your branch from master.
  2. If you have made changes to the code, make sure that you run flutter analyze and eliminate errors, and warnings (if any).
  3. Keep the code formatted.
  4. Launch that pull request.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and clarified by project maintainers.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at support@fnplus.tech. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident. Further details of specific enforcement policies may be posted separately.

Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined by other members of the project's leadership.
