jupyterlab_shutdown

This extension is decrepated as it was introduced in JupyterLab >=0.34.6

A Quit entry in File menu.

This extension is based on jupyter/notebook#3004 . Warning: It does not use the option NotebookApp.shutdown_button introduce for the classical notebook as JupyterLab separates more the frontend and the backend. See jupyterlab/jupyterlab#2790 .

Prerequisites

Installation

jupyter labextension install jupyterlab_shutdown

Development

For a development install (requires npm version 4 or later), do the following in the repository directory:

npm install
npm run build
jupyter labextension install .

To rebuild the package and the JupyterLab app:

npm run build
jupyter lab build
