FreeCS 03-05-2024
- Grab FTEQW for your platform, place it into your Half-Life installation.
- Place package_valve.pk3 into
Half-Life/valve/ - Place package_cstrike.pk3 into
Half-Life/cstrike/. - Run FTEQW. If you want to boot straight into CS:
fteqw -halflife -game cstrikeshould do.

Binary release archive. Use this if you just want to play.
Run cstrike/install_from_archiveorg.sh to grab pak0.pk3, containing the CS 1.5 data from archive.org.
Remember to grab and install FreeHL first. CS is a HL mod after all:

Run cstrike/install_from_archiveorg.sh to grab pak0.pk3, containing the CS 1.5 data from archive.org.
Run valve/install_from_cd.sh or valve/install_from_steam.sh to get the content for Half-Life from either the original disc release, or Steam.
Alternatively, merge your game directories manually. This should be easy to do.
Press 'M' to select team.
