Command line utility to encrypt / decrypt string messages with ECIES (Ethereum-used cryptography scheme).

Usage

Get help

$ node src/main.js
Usage: ecies-cli [options] [command]

ECIES command line utility

Options:
  -V, --version                  output the version number
  -h, --help                     display help for command

Commands:
  decrypt <privateKey> <cipher>  decrypts a message encrypted by public key
  encrypt <publicKey> <message>  encrypts a message with public key
  create                         creates a private / public key pair
  help [command]                 display help for command

Create a random private / public key pair

$ node src/main.js create
private key: 0xf2748b444d331a21ffc91559eafc192ec191a6b17b02100c238d1eea389a6e87
