v0.3.0

A lot of work has gone into errbit since v0.2.0, but there has been no official release. v0.3.0 represents over a year's worth of bug fixes, improvements and maintenance, but is not a major departure from v0.2.0. We will encourage users to use v0.3.0 until v0.4.0 is ready.

v0.4.0

Ruby 1.9.3 has reached the end of its life and support will not continue beyond February 23, 2015. Errbit will drop support for Ruby 1.9 but official support will continue for ruby 2.0.0+

Adding and maintaining third party integrations for issue trackers and notification systems is starting to consume the majority of this project's available development resources. Starting with v0.4.0, Errbit will focus on maintaining and documenting a flexible plugin system and drop all official support for third party integration other than GitHub.

We will upgrade Errbit to Rails 4.2.

Unscheduled

  • Add an Airbrake v3 compatible API endpoint
  • Implement and/or document a better way to report client-side JavaScript errors
  • Recover the errbit.com domain name and install a marketing site
