Describe the feature:
The vast majority of visualizations are used in the context of a dashboard and not as a standalone saved object in the Library. Making visualizations part of dashboards also simplifies dashboard management.

That's why, in order to avoid that visualizations get created outside a dashboard, we are removing the option of adding to the Library when creating visualizations (Lens, Maps, TSVB, Agg based and Vega). Note: users will always be able to add a visualization to the Library from the dashboard after creation.

  • Remove the "None" option and "Add to Library" when creating a visualization image
  • Remove the "Save to library" option when creating a visualization from the dashboard image
