turbo-syntax

Commands for blocking and tackling.

Commands

Quickly insert new lines, end lines with semicolons or commas, or block code in brackets with ease.

New Line Above CTRL-SHIFT-INSERT

Adds a line above the current line. Remaps default Atom key bind that may interfere with other commands.

New Line Below CTRL-INSERT

Adds a line below the current line. Remaps default Atom key bind that may interfere with other commands.

Backspace To Preceding Word SHIFT-BACKSPACE

Deletes any whitespace to the end of the preceding word.

Delete To Next Word SHIFT-DELETE

Deletes any whitespace to the beginning of the next word.

End Line CTRL-;

Terminates the current line with a semicolon.

End Line with a comma CTRL-,

Terminates the current line with a comma.

Easy Braces CTRL-B

Creates a statement block { ... } with the selected text placed inside braces and properly indented. If the selection is already wrapped with a block, the block is removed and its content is unindented.

Easy Brackets CTRL-SHIFT-B

Creates a statement block [ ... ] with the selected text placed inside brackets and properly indented. If the selection is already wrapped with a block, the block is removed and its content is unindented.

Easy Parentheses CTRL-ALT-B

Creates a statement block ( ... ) with the selected text placed inside brackets and properly indented. If the selection is already wrapped with a block, the block is removed and its content is unindented.
