Work for this project has been done by Owen Child, dePaul Miller, and Desai Xie under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Palmieri of Lehigh University ontop of the work that has been done by the team that created memcached.
It is a version of Memcached that uses a GPU hash map that sits in unified memory for accelerated queries. This project is proof of concept.
