As years go by, maintaining CSSND will become more and more time-consuming and error-prone.

A Static Site Generator (SSG) would help a great deal. Eleventy is a no-brainer candidate.

Ideas

Use single files for each participant to avoid having to deal with manually ordering them as well, which is the main paint point for two days each 8th of April.
