Happened to come across RunKeeper. I wanted to code for an app like this. I would love to make some additions to the features.

Well, as you can see I stopped working on MMF a while ago - but feel free to get this branch up to speed again!

So I started using MMF on android since it is the only app I see that lets you actually create intervals based on Heart Rate and not just log the Heart Rate.

Here is some code that uses the latest API:

@bculberson was taking a look at this, last I heard.

Yeah, I had made progress. I'll take a look at the code in this PR when I get to it.

Is anyone actively working on this? I've been playing around with the MMF now UA API and may take a stab at it.

I've checked out the UA API, and it looks like it's got all the right parts. Unfortunately tapiriik may not qualify for the 'free' access level since it is an (optionally) paid service (their pricing page explains), and I'm still working out whether I can afford their not-free API.

I set up a free account just to play around with and would like to try messing around with running tappiriik and getting my data out of MMF using that for now. Is this branch still the right place to do that or should I just create a new on off of the master?

You'll definitely want to start a new branch off of master, the code in this one dates from early 2013 and is woefully out of sync with the rest of the system.

Yea I figured that was the case when I looked at it. I'll see what I can do with the access UA has provided me with and worry about the rest later. Thanks I'll probably have some questions along the way but I'm hoping I can get at least some of this working.

I had a branch doing all the oauth and branding. I am the architect on the
api team and can work with you if you have any issues.

My friend helped me get around this by using Garmin Connect. If you create an account there, sync MMR to GC and record a ride with MapMyRide, it will sync to all the other apps using Garmin Connect. It's only one way but it works! You don't even need to own a Garmin device.

@teknoziz How did you get MMR to sync to GC? I can only find how to sync from GC to MMR, but not the other way. Any feedback you can provide would be helpful.
