This wiki aims to describe everything you need to know about the UX Content Glossary project.
Side: Usable wiki docs can be a challenge to construct, especially when navigation features are limited, as they are here. If you have a suggestion or ... a-hem! ... a gripe about these docs or the collaborative processes described, start a new Issue to share your thoughts. Until that magical moment, you're encouraged to read through the existing material here to get a sense of the big picture.
The bird's-eye perspective:
- The customary README
- Status
- Audience and scope
- Project phases (through post-production)
- Collaboration roles and hierarchy
You can't do anything until you do this first, in order:
- Create a free GitHub account, if you don't have one.
- Request to collaborate
- Find a Markdown-friendly text editor
- Install the GitHub desktop client
-
Clone the master repository
- Psst! A "clone setup" diagram
- Tour the GitHub client UI
Or, how to do the harmonious boogie.
- Routine contributions (workflow scenarios)
- Collaborative decision-making
- Using issues (decision histories)
- Using issue labels (status flags)
For the words people:
For the code and colors people:
Explorers will explore.
- GitHub overview (basic, in context of this project)
- GitHub client UI explained
- Clone the master repository
- GitHub client push commits
- Troubleshooting repository conflicts
