Seva

An app to help coordinate relief efforts in Houston after Hurricane Harvey, built with React Native.

Getting Started

First, clone the project, go to the terminal, and run yarn at the root of the project. You should also install Visual Studio Code for your dev environment.

Open the project in VS Code, select the debug menu, and hit "Debug iOS" to run the app.

Windows Specific Info

  • Install the install react-native if not already installed npm install -g react-native-cli
  • Install JDK if not already installed.
  • Install the android sdk if not installed
  • You will need to add the adb tools in the %PATH% environment variables ..\Android\sdk\platform-tools
  • You will need to add a new ANDROID_HOME var to environment variables that points to the ..\Android\sdk dir (where your licenses are accepted)
