This repository provides Printed Circuit Board
(PCB
) files, as well as software examples, for an Arduino-based TIP120
actuator controlled via Potentiometer
(or any Voltage Divider
). As described (in more detail) here, the TIP120
is capable of actuating a variety of devices including brushless DC motors, vibration motors, solenoids, and lightbulbs.
This double-sided Pin Through Hole
(PTH
) PCB was created in EAGLE.
VCC
is supplied to the Arduino Mini
via RAW
(12V maximum). VCC
is also passed to the T
pin of the CONN JACK STEREO 3.5MM
. Connection to motors/solenoids/whatever is accomplished via 3.5mm audio cable. Rate of actuation is set via Potentiometer
and passed to Arduino Mini
via A0
.
Note: items without a Manufacturer Part Number
are generic.
