The purpose of the PyBank challenge is to create a Python script for analyzing financial records of a company. The dataset used in this exercise consists of two columns: Date and Profit/Losses. The Python script should analyze the following:

  • The total number of months included in the dataset
  • The net total amount of "Profit/Losses" over the entire period
  • The average of the changes in "Profit/Losses" over the entire period
  • The greatest increase in profits (date and amount) over the entire period
  • The greatest decrease in losses (date and amount) over the entire period

The purpose of te PyPoll challenge is to help a small, fictional town to modernize its vote-counting process. The dataset in this challenge includes three columns inside a .csv file which include voter id, county, and the candidate name. The Pyton script sould analyze the votes and calculate each of the following:

  • The total number of votes cast
  • A complete list of candidates who received votes
  • The percentage of votes each candidate won
  • The total number of votes each candidate won
  • The winner of the election based on popular vote

The script to run each of the python files are named main.py and are in each challenge's respective folders. The script was originally run using Visual Studio Code. Each folder also contains the data in .csv format.
