The README suggests an alternative way to run the agent from source is to use
go run. Because the agent executes itself, usinggo run main.go startwithout an existingbuildkite-agentin$PATHmeans it fails to run any jobs, and (perhaps more confusingly) if it does find abuildkite-agentit is unlikely to have the changes being tested. This applies to any system with more than onebuildkite-agenton$PATH.
