This is an alpha of the new Rust version of this app.

What's not working:

  • Theme Store server isn't up yet.
  • There are random bugs. Please report them.

  • Added support for the 2nd revision of Corsair's Capellix cooler.
  • Added support for the Thermaltake Ultra LCD cooler.
  • Removed ugly debug themes.
  • Removed NZXT driver from installer. It still doesn't work.
  • Fixed Capellix LCD disconnections.
  • Added exit app button to title bar.
  • Fixed various ugly visual things about the app.
  • Fixed various random bugs.

Known issues:

I try my best to resolve as many issues I can during development but some make it through. I'll make sure to get rid of these in the next release.

  • Sometimes, updating a theme's controllable parameters can crash the UI process. It doesn't always happen. Apparently, luck is a factor. I am still debugging this issue.
  • The Thermaltake driver is relatively new, there might and probably will be issues. Please report them to me through GitHub issues or on this app's discord server.

  • Completely revamped UI.
  • Device handling has been switched to a Rust driver. It's stabler and nicer to your computer.

Known issues:

  • The Capellix LCD may disconnect sometimes randomly. Current mitigation is to restart the app when this happens. I am doing my best to resolve this as fast as possible.
  • The app mentions NZXT cooler and will start if you have one; however, it will NOT work. NZXT support is still broken. These mentions will be removed if NZXT support is not fixed in 0.0.4 and readded once NZXT support is fixed.

This release contains bugfixes for the previously mentioned issues.

  • Themes have error handling. If you don't have a sensor, a random one is selected for you and then you can pick whatever works.
  • Having more than 1 sensor selector doesn't bork them anymore.
  • NotZXT theme is more granular and accurate with its controls now.

This is the first version of Zefir's Flashy Cooler. It does what it says on the tin. While using less CPU than iCUE.
This IS going to be HELLA buggy. Some things might straight up just not work. Please enjoy it nevertheless!

  • Having 2 sensor selectors causes the 2nd one to not function correctly. You need to reselect it from the ground up to get a good save to the config.
  • If you don't have a specific sensor, the themes don't have proper error handling yet, you might need to change the config path to one that actually exists. If the app fails to start, this is probably the reason. It also might start and all you'll need to do is change the sensor through the UI. It's worth trying.
