Assumed Environment Variables

Much of the configuration assumes deployment to a Heroku instance, with external resources being hosted on Amazon Web Services. The following settings are stored as environment variables.

• ADMIN_ is a holding area for information about this deployment
  • ADMIN_ORG_APP_NAME: The name of the organization or application
  • ADMIN_EMAIL: Email of the primary contact tech person for this deployment
  • ADMIN_NAME: Name used by the primary contact tech person for this deployment
• Amazon Web Service carries profile images
  • AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID
  • AWS_BUCKET
  • AWS_PAPERCLIP_ROOT
  • AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY
• Mandrill for notification emails.
  • MANDRILL_USERNAME
  • MANDRILL_APIKEY
• New Relic for some statistics
  • NEW_RELIC_LICENSE_KEY
• Rails configuration stuff that's very deployment-specific
