To install the course

make sure you have 'git' installed
clone the repository
- git clone https://github.com/bioinformatics-core-shared-training/cruk-bioinf-sschool.git
change to the directory that the repository was just downloaded to
- cd cruk-bioinf-sschool
make the 'softwareInstall.sh' and 'getData.sh' scripts executable
- chmod 755 softwareInstall.sh
- chmod 755 getData.sh
run the software install script
- ./softwareInstall.sh
run the get data script
- ./getData.sh
You may also wish to install the latest versions of RStudio and IGV to help run the course
