I've been using it for over 3 weeks and no issue so far.

Thermal
Thermal is excellent. This picture is under full load (both uplink and downlink).
Speed
Update: Now I'm able to achieve 2.49Gb bi-directional simultaneously.
These two screenshots are outdated.
The two screenshots are taken at the same time. Ubuntu(10GbE) <===> Switch <===> Ugreen NIC (2.5GbE) - DS620slim
And here's a screenshot from DSM. No other interfaces enabled.
Stress Test
I've been tested for 4 hours continuously under full load and no problem detected so far.
Personally I think this is a better option than a 5GbE NIC given similar speed yet better stability.
Background
Previously I used the QNAP 5GbE Adapter with the AQC111 driver and DS620slim but this NIC randomly drops connection without any clue (would disconnect from a few hours up to 1.5 months).
That is very unlikely because of overheating and the surface of the NIC is not hot at all.
Also, the speed I can get with DS620slim is about 2.8Gbps at maximum so not a huge difference from a 2.5 GbE one (measured by iPerf3).

Summary
DS620slim + USB-A to C adapter + Ugreen RTL8156BG work very well.
