ARKIVO is an ontology designed to accomodate archival description, including object hierarchy often encoutered in archives (Fonds, Series, files, Items etc) as well as metadata of digitized and born-digital archival objects. It has historical events, persons, places and other entities that typically describe the archival documents and other items.
