This is a drop-in setup for Gnus. I have it setup for both my personal and work account, but it should be easy enough to tweak docker-compose.yml for only one account.
Create a ~/.mailman.env file for your credentials
IMAP_USER=youremail@gmailc.om IMAP_PASSWORD=sosecret
Run docker-compose up -d in this directory.
As of now, you also need these hard coded credentials in your ~/.authinfo
machine localhost login mailman password frozenfish port 8143 machine localhost login mailman password frozenfish port 8144
Add something like this to your gnus config.
