This repository contains several example applications:
- hello_joe, a tutorial implementing 3 iterations of a simple conference server and introducing OTP
- traffic_light, a trivial finite state machine to control a fixed traffic light sequence
- cohort, a minimalist demonstration of failover in a distributed OTP application running on a 2 node cluster
The example applications are set up to build using rebar3.
Ctrl+Shift+B (or Cmd+Shift+B on Mac) will build & test from within VSCode.
The Elvis rebar3 plugin is used to provide code linting.
From a terminal, use rebar3 as lint lint.
From a terminal, use rebar3 do eunit, ct, cover. This will run the unit tests and Common Test suites and display a summary coverage report.
Detailed coverage reports can be found by opening _build/test/cover/index.html.
