Customer Information

Mr. Shareef Khalid is a tour guide operator in Lahore and shares the developer’s avid love of sports, particularly cricket.

Being cognizant of both the illegality of gambling and its societal repercussions, he approached the developers to develop a brokering service based on a virtual currency. The idea is to preserve and promote the added thrill and excitement associated with having a personal stake in the outcome of a sports game particularly for the legions of cricket fans in Pakistan.

The team envisions an HTML5 web app compatible with all screen sizes acting as the front end for a SAAS style back end implemented in rails. Low latency is cited as a particularly strong requirement due to the nature of quickly changing games. Low-Fi paper prototypes representing user stories were presented to all stake holders and, after some alterations, accepted as alpha stage indicative of the end product.
