Release Overview

This release includes a stable running version of the all the current updates implemented. Features such as:

  • Piano
  • Acoustic Drum
  • Electronic Drum
  • Voice Recorder
  • File Chooser for backing track or recording

Instructions/Installation and Set-Up

In order to ensure that all sounds play as intended follow the following instructions:

  1. Add the following folders from the Github repo into the folder that houses the executable file with this release:
  • AcousticDrum_Samples
  • Drum_Images
  • Drum_Samples
  • Recording_Files
  • Z_Music_Notes

You can see an example of how this should be set-up by looking in the target folder on this Github repo.

  1. To save and play voice recordings, save your file as "recording.wav", make sure all sound files are in .wav format if you are choosing to replace/modify the sound files.

  2. To ensure that the .jar executable is playable, make sure to already have Java installed on your computer and that you can get the SDK running.
