Suggestions for better file organization and usage

In your home directory:

- Linux and Mac -> `echo $HOME`
- Windows -> `usually C:\Users\your_username\`

create a directory with name .termdict, and within that, a child directory bin. Then place the downloaded binary file into the bin directory.

You can then add the bin directory path to the $PATH environmental variable. Allowing you to run the application from any terminal session.

Here is a simple guide on how to append to $PATH

Build

  • Mininum supported go version: 1.21.0
